Ice time has been booked for Saturday November 19, 2005 at 10:30pm at the Jim Durrell arena on 1264 Walkley Rd.

Everyone is invited to come out and have a fun game of pickup hockey regardless of your skill level. If you are interested in playing, please let Troy Couwenberghs know by e-mail or phone at 837-3342. The cost will be approximately $10 per person. Paying in advance is appreciated as there is a cost to booking the ice regardless of how many people actually show up.

If you are over 18 years old, equipment is recommended, as a puck on the shins does not feel very nice, but not necessary with the exceptions of helmets (these are mandatory). For safety concerns anyone less than 18 years old will need full equipment to play.

Sixteenth annual Bliny Brunch to be held on Sunday, March 6, 2005.

Full participation of every parishioner is most necessary - we need everyone to help selling tickets, making bliny, working at the hall, etc.

This is most important - the Bliny is our major fundraiser and it is essential that all tickets are sold - please, be sure buy tickets for yourself and sell tickets to your friends - tickets are available from Olga Kiriloff & Anna Novoraj.

We need donations of good quality Russian collectables for the auction (they do not need to be expensive, but they cannot be cheap or junky). Please, check your home to see what you can donate for the event - these items should be given to Olga Kiriloff. Half of our profits at the Bliny come from the auction. Therefore we ask that everyone participate.

Many thanks to those who have already emptied their homes. If you have not had the chance to donate something in the past, please, do so this year.
